Protection across the infrastructure

These infrastructure measures are part of the standard setup.

Optional services

OS and application patching, backups and restore checks can be discussed and agreed for each service. Custom network isolation can also be discussed.

  • Firewall protection across the infrastructure
  • A separate logical VLAN for each customer by default
  • Monitoring is provided by default

Choose how to host your system

A managed server is the usual starting point. Colocation is for businesses that need to keep their own hardware.

When to review your server setup

A private application may need its own server. Start with the software requirements and current setup.

ERP and inventory deployments

Ask the software provider to confirm the supported operating system, database and access requirements before planning a server.

An existing business system

An office move or an ageing server can prompt a review. Check whether the application needs a separate server and what a move would involve.

Software implementers

For a customer deployment, share the application requirements and the server tasks you need managed. You continue to support the software while we discuss the server setup with you.

Discuss a customer deployment

If your software already runs as a supported cloud service, a separate managed server may not be needed.

Start with a discussion

Tell us about the application, where it runs now and which server tasks you need help managing. Include your software provider's requirements if available.

Tell us about your application
  1. Share the current setup

Include the application name and version, operating system, current hosting or hardware, and the management you are looking for.

  2. Discuss the requirements

Talk through the application, hosting arrangement, responsibilities and any optional services that may fit your needs.
